What is Your Return Policy?

Stock Pieces

Stock pieces ordered as ready-to-ship items may be returned if they are in saleable condition within 30 days, accompanied by a sales receipt. Returns may be sent to our Customer Service Center, or you may take your return to one of our boutique locations in Redlands, or Palm Springs, California.

Custom Pieces

Pieces that required sizing, engraving, or customization may be eligible for an exchange or credit. Exchanging customized pieces would require a $125 restocking charge so that our factory can return the product back to stock size and/or specs. Shipping charges would apply to the customer. Please contact us and we’ll do our very best to accommodate this exchange.

Special Orders

Pieces that require special ordering will be shipped when the product is available. When available to deliver, the items will be shipped on normal shipping days, at no charge, for two day delivery.

Gift Recipients

Gift recipients without a sales receipt may be eligible for an exchange or credit.

Please ship your package insured for the full value of the item, as Emerson & Farrar is not responsible for your package. Please also include order details with your shipment. For additional advice on shipping your product, please contact us.


When should I expect to receive my return credit?

For U.S. Customers, allow 3-5 business days from the time of the confirmation e-mail for the funds to reach your account, from there, processing time may vary depending on your credit card company's funds transfer policy.


How long will it take Emerson & Farrar to process my merchandise return?

On the average, about 2-3 business days from the time we received your item, enter it into our system, and pass it along to our Quality Assurance department (roughly 24 hours, Monday-Friday). For exchanged items, please allow an additional 2-3 days before the outbound package is shipped.


Will I be notified during the merchandise returns process?

Yes. Once your package arrives at Emerson & Farrar, it takes 1-2 business days before you receive an e-mail alerting you that your return is being processed.


Can I return an item that was given to me as a gift?

Yes, Emerson & Farrar is happy to exchange it for merchandise credit within 30 days of purchase. Place the gift in its original packaging with the receipt (if available) and follow the above return instructions. Your return will be credited to you in the form of an Emerson & Farrar gift certificate or store credit.


Will the buyer of my returned gift know that it was returned?

Please inform us that this return item was a gift purchase. We will ensure that it does not appear on the buyer's account and they will not be notified.


Will Emerson & Farrar update me during the return process?

Yes. You'll receive an e-mail from us alerting you that your return has been received. For exchanged items, we'll send you an e-mail with a shipping confirmation no later than 6 P.M. (PST) on the day it ships.


Can I do a "rush order" on my return?

Please call and speak to one of our Diamond and Jewelry Consultants to request expedited shipping for your return.


Shipping Information

We provide Free Two Day Shipping on Ready-To-Ship orders over $500.

Orders below $500 will include a two day flat rate shipping fee of $15.

Overnight shipping is available at an additional $50 fee.

Orders must be placed before 3:00PM PST Monday through Thursday.

Sunday and Holiday delivery is not available.

Orders placed on Friday or Saturday will be shipped the next available business day.

Sizing or engraving requires one business day to prepare prior to shipping.

Signature is required to accept delivery.

Items ordered together may not always ship together. If your order requires more than one shipment, you will only be charged one shipping fee.

Currently we accept online orders to shipping addresses within the United States only. International orders may be available by phone. To ensure the secure delivery of your order, Emerson & Farrar does not ship orders to post office boxes. We are able to accept post office box addresses for your billing needs.


How is my order packaged?

For standard orders within the U.S., we ship using secure, non-descript packaging material.


Warranty

At Emerson & Farrar we stand behind our work. 

The customer is responsible for maintenance and normal wear and tear, but we will take care of any issue that was a manufacturer defect.

All of our jewelry is manufactured using the highest quality materials and is inspected prior to shipment. 

Our lifetime warranty offers complimentary check ups and cleaning services.

In the event that there is ever a problem with your jewelry or you are in need of other services that are not covered under our lifetime warranty, your jewelry can be brought back or mailed to our showroom for evaluation. Once inspected, should charges apply, you will be notified prior to any work being done to service your jewelry.

Jewelry Care

Do you offer cleaning services?

All of our clients who purchased Emerson & Farrar jewelry are offered FREE lifetime cleaning and inspection services.

For our long distance clients, you may send your jewelry in at anytime. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges. We recommend you fully insure your item and let us know we should be receiving it shortly.
